Abstract

Biography

Marcelle has 17 years’ experience in the waste and resource recovery industry where she worked in various waste management coordinator and education roles in Local Councils and as a waste consultant. Over the past 6 years she has worked as a Senior Project Officer with NSW EPA leading on the development of a range of resources, tools and programs and providing support and advice to local councils and regional waste groups across NSW. Prior to this she spent 5 years working in the United Kingdom as a Senior Waste Consultant including work with waste and recycling social enterprises. Her areas of expertise include waste education, waste data, waste strategies, technical and operational knowledge of local council waste and recycling collection systems, planning issues and waste technology solutions. Marcelle has a BA Arts (Hons) and Master Environmental Management.
