Abstract

Biography

Janet has more than ten years of experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of waste management and environmental education programs in NSW State and Local Government, in the not-for-profit sector, and at a university in the Philippines. With degrees in Environmental Management and Science, she is the current NSW Chair of the Waste Management Association of Australia’s Waste Educators Working Group. At the NSW EPA, Janet currently manages the $70 million Household Problem Waste Programs as part of the Waste Less, Recycle More initiative. This includes the Household Chemical CleanOut and Community Recycling Centres programs.

Biography

Glen has worked in the NSW Government on waste and recycling issues for the past 17 years. Prior to this he has 25 years’ experience in the engineering sector over a wide range of fields in the local and international arena. He has managed the Household Chemical Collection (HCC) Program since its inception in 2003 and has been instrumental in the development and delivery of the network of Community Recycling Centres across NSW.
