Registrations now open!


Registrations are now open and accommodation bookings are available for attendance at the Waste 2017 Conference.

Due to popular demand and high calibre of submissions received, the conference has been extended this year to cover 2.5 days and will commence at 1pm on Tuesday 2nd May.

We will welcome over 500 delegates, over 100 presenters, both national and international, and feature in excess of 80 sponsors and exhibitors showcasing the latest in services, equipment and technology available in the waste industry.  There will be 3 social events held also for those all important networking opportunities.

Registration and accommodation bookings can be made online only.

Please note that ALL registrations need to be done on an individual basis and ALL delegates must have their own unique log in and password.  This log in needs to be the delegates own email address.  If you are registering on behalf of someone else, please add your email as the 'additional' email address.

~Co-presenters are entitled to a $200 discount off the delegate registration rate.

Trade Delegate Registration - includes access to trade exhibition only.  DOES NOT INCLUDE CONFERENCE SESSIONS (these may be purchased as a separate item).

Registration Cancellations - A full refund less a $195 administration charge will be made for cancellations received in writing before 18 April.  A 50% refund is applicable for all cancellations received between 18 April and 24 April.  No refund will be provided for cancellations received after 24 April.  Substitutions from within organisations are welcome without penalty.  Refunds will not be processed until after the conclusion of the conference.

Accommodation Rates

Details about the accommodation venues are available on the conference website.  Rates shown are per night in AUD and include GST.  Accommodation MUST be booked through the conference organisers via this online booking system.

A maximum of four (4) rooms only can be booked at Opal Cove Resort by a single organisation.  Opal Cove Resort also has a minimum 2 night stay.  All rooms at all venues are non smoking and rooms at Aanuka Beach and Aqualuna Beach Resorts do not include daily servicing.

Free scheduled bus transfers will be provided between Opal Cove (the conference venue) and all other accommodation venues.  Free airport transfers are also available for selected flights, click here for details.

Terms & Conditions

Cancellations received prior to 4 April will incur an administration fee of 10% of the full amount of the accommodation booking.  Cancellations received between 4 April and 24 April will incur an administration fee of 30% of the full amount of the accommodation booking if the cancelled room(s) are re-sold, or a cancellation fee of 100% of the full amount of the accommodation booking if the rooms(s) are not re-sold.  Cancellations receieved after 24 April will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the full amount of the accommodation booking.  The orgnaisers reserve the right to apply a $25 administration charge for each accmmodation change (eg. replacement/cancellation) made after 11 April.  Refunds will not be processed until after the conclusion of the conference.
