The Waste 2025 Conference prides itself on providing networking opportunities for our delegates, giving them the chance to interact with other like-minded professionals in an informal setting. There are 3 social events delegates have the option to participate in:
Taking place on Tuesday 13th May from 5.45pm - 7.45pm, the Welcome Reception will be held outside among the outdoor exhibits at Opal Cove Resort (weather permitting). It includes complimentary drinks and light standing refreshments and will provide delegates the opportunity to catch up with old acquaintances and make new ones while browsing the many products and new technology that will be on display.
Following the Welcome Reception, further entertainment will take place in the Horizons Bar from 8pm–11pm as part of our 'post welcome reception' function enabling delegates to continue their networking.
The conference dinner will be held on Wednesday 14th May at Pacific Bay Resort with pre-dinner drinks starting at 6.15pm outside on the beautiful grounds know as the Fairway (weather permitting).
To ensure everyone is in good spirits the dinner once again will be themed.
This is a dinner where delegates DO dress up, so make sure you are not the odd one out and get organised early! Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed delegates. Theme TBC.
Free scheduled transport will be provided between venues at the start and end of the dinner.
The conference finale buffet will be held on Thursday 15th May from 6.30pm at Opal Cove Resort on the outdoor terrace (weather permitting) and in Horizons Restaurant.
Live music will be provided making the finale buffet the perfect relaxed networking opportunity for delegates to catch up with colleagues one final time before bidding farewell for another year.
All 'Full Conference Package' registrations include attendance to all 3 networking events. Alternatively, the social events can be added on to the 1, 2 or 3 day registrations.
